No…sunshine.

Things get quite lonley around the house…when sunshine visiting her Dad.

No laughing & giggling

No yelling

No bedtime prayers together

No constant reminders of do your homework

No “eewww get away from me because you smell like the neighbors dogs”

No “you cant just eat chicken nuggets and Macaroni & Cheese forever” or “why nots”

No “get back in the shower and wash your hair…dont just wet it”

No reminders that “you HAVE to remember to wear a bra every day”

No rushing to get to guitar lessons or a football game

No “Mom, thats not how that cheer goes…”

No playing tag in the back yard

No planning our trip to Hawaii

No making creative messes together

No conversations about her new found boobies and those “OTHER” similar girly talks

No making an argument of “Mom I have one pair of shoes, why do you think  I  need more”

No dancing around like we are the best dancers on Dancing with the Stars or So you think you can dance

I am blessed with an amazing & talented daughter…

So, good times or not so good times…everything is better when sunshine is home.

Yeah, I know these feelings all to well. Empty. Missing a part of myself. :( She’s a lucky girl that you love her so very much.
